What’s happening?

On Tuesday 18th March, Medical Aid for Palestinians, Save the Children and Christian Aid launched a joint campaign calling on the UK Government, in particular Keir Starmer and David Lammy, to end their complicity in Israel’s serious violations of international law in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt).

The campaign’s main demand is that the UK must not be an ally to Israel’s atrocities in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.


Overview

This toolkit includes messages, a film, graphics and sample posts to help you to take action online in support of the Ally to Atrocities campaign. Together, we are calling for the UK Government to end its complicity in Israel’s atrocities in the oPt. 

The UK Government must urgently:  

  • Suspend all arms transfers to Israel, including parts for F-35 fighter jets   

  • Hold all perpetrators accountable and end Israel’s impunity   

  • Take all possible steps to bring an end to Israel's unlawful occupation

Together, let’s push for an end to the UK’s complicity in atrocities by Israel against Palestinians.

  • Israeli forces have resumed their brutal military assault on Gaza, killing and injuring hundreds of Palestinians.

  • The evidence of Israel’s atrocities in Gaza is impossible to ignore. And now, these atrocities are spilling over into the occupied West Bank.

  • When atrocities are clearly evidenced, both International Humanitarian Law and basic morality demand that the UK Government does everything in its power to bring them to an end.

How to take part:

  • Add your voice and use your platform by sharing campaign materials, tag MPs and mobilise your followers to take action.

  • This campaign is time-sensitive and your participation is crucial.
