Campaign Toolkit for MPs
What’s happening?
On Tuesday 18th March, Medical Aid for Palestinians, Save the Children and Christian Aid launched a joint campaign calling on the UK Government, in particular Keir Starmer and David Lammy, to end their complicity in Israel’s serious violations of international law in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt).
The campaign’s main demand is that the UK must not be an ally to Israel’s atrocities in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
Overview
This toolkit includes messages, a film, graphics and sample posts to help you to take action online in support of the Ally to Atrocities campaign. Together, we are calling for the UK Government to end its complicity in Israel’s atrocities in the oPt.
The UK Government must urgently:
Suspend all arms transfers to Israel, including parts for F-35 fighter jets
Hold all perpetrators accountable and end Israel’s impunity
Take all possible steps to bring an end to Israel's unlawful occupation

Key messages for Members of Parliament
After two months of a temporary ceasefire in Gaza, Israel has resumed its brutal military assault on Gaza. Hospitals are at breaking point, medical supplies are running dangerously low and families are once again being forced from their homes with nowhere safe to turn. The world cannot stay silent as Palestinians endure yet more atrocities.
The evidence of Israel’s atrocities against Palestinians in Gaza is impossible to ignore. And now, these atrocities are spilling over into the occupied West Bank.
When atrocities are clearly evidenced, both International Humanitarian Law and basic morality demand that the UK Government does everything in its power to bring them to an end.
Urge Ministers to take real action: No more arms transfers, no more diplomatic cover.
The UK Government cannot pick and choose when to uphold international law or whose lives are worth protecting.
As elected leaders, it is your duty to hold the Government accountable.

#AllyToAtrocities #EndUKComplicity📢 The UK must stop enabling Israel’s atrocities in the occupied Palestinian territory. Israel has resumed its brutal military assault in Gaza, yet the Government continues to approve the supply of British-made parts for F-35 fighter jets. I’m calling for an end to UK complicity. Join me in demanding action #AllyToAtrocities #EndUKComplicity
The UK’s continued diplomatic cover to Israel amid clear evidence of atrocities in Gaza is unacceptable. I am urging the Government to act in line with international law and immediately halt all arms transfers. Now is the time for accountability. #AllyToAtrocities allytoatrocities.com
